Collecting and sharing our life stories to benefit women all around the world. One of the first Mommy Mentors Projects is a book comprised of a collection of our stories, called “Older Moms to Younger Moms.” We want your story contributions!

Each of us is living a life filled with experiences worth sharing. For example, the woman who has gone through a painful divorce and has managed to make a new and wonderful life has much to tell the woman who is just beginning this agonizing process.

Mommy Mentors is based on the premise that real life experiences are often life’s greatest teachers, which is why we created the Mommy Mentors Project. The Mommy Mentors Project is a vault, preserving our lessons in the form of stories. Our goal is to collect real life stories from women of all races, nationalities, religions and cultures.

Why stories? Stories enchant, stories motivate and stories change perspectives. A great story is as valuable as a good friendship. It is through stories that knowledge and experiences pass from generation to generation. To put it simply, stories inspire.

The process benefits everyone: the writer, with a cathartic experience by truly exploring what they’ve gone through; the reader, by being able to learn through others’ experiences; and Mommy Mentors, by growing a library of insightful, inspirational, practical stories to help all of us as we live our lives. We are committed to building friendships and a powerful support system of women helping each other by drawing from their shared life experiences.

From the Mommy Mentors Project’s collection, we will create a series of books and multi-media resources to encourage, inspire and benefit women.

Whether homemaker or grandmother, waitress or the CEO of a Fortune Five Hundred Corporation, every woman has something very valuable to share. If you would like to be a mommy mentor and submit your story, please take a moment to read the Mommy Mentor Project guidelines or click here to submit your story.
